My RTW collection is inspired by “amen break”.
The amen break is a drum break that came from the 1969 trak by the soul group “the winstons. Since then it has been widely simplified in popular music which the group never got credit for. This famous beat has been featured in so many songs over the decades.
Throughout the periods, musical styles change and renew, and so does fashion and culture change with the style. However, the rock and roll culture exists and kicks to this day. In my collection I want to show what would happen if I took fashion elements from other styles and simplified them together to make my own new one.
